This artist book uses the tactile quality of paper alone to portray the numerous choices encountered in life. Each cut line represents a potential path, while the paths actually taken are torn along these lines. Choices that were retraced or reluctantly reversed are stitched back together with contrasting pieces of paper.

To capture the long journey of choices, the book is designed in a wide, horizontal format and contains an ample volume of pages. Small holes punctuate the pages along certain paths, symbolizing the choices made; they offer glimpses into future pages, suggesting that one choice may lead to another.
